Section 44

The Crown, but not His Majesty in his private capacity, and each of the entities listed in columns 1 or 2 of the Table in Schedule 2 to these Regulations (whether or not they perform their functions on behalf of the Crown) are specified for the purposes of the definition of “central government authority” in paragraph 5(1) of Schedule 1 to the PA 2023 (threshold amounts). Where an entity listed in Schedule 2 is or has been succeeded by another entity, which is itself a contracting authority, the successor entity shall be deemed to be included in Schedule 2.
