Council Directive 90/314/EEC of 13 June 1990 on package travel, package holidays and package tours · European Union

Whereas paragraph 36 (b) of the Annex to the Council resolution of 19 May 1981 on a second programme of the European Economic Community for a consumer protection and information policy OJ No C 165, 23. 6. 1981, p. 24. invites the Commission to study, inter alia, tourism and, if appropriate, to put forward suitable proposals, with due regard for their significance for consumer protection and the effects of differences in Member States' legislation on the proper functioning of the common market;
