Support in respect of an agri-environmental commitment shall be granted annually and be calculated on the basis of: income foregone, additional costs resulting from the commitment given, and the need to provide an incentive. The cost of any non-remunerative capital works necessary for the fulfilment of the commitments may also be taken into account in calculating the level of annual support.
