The EIB shall cooperate in attaining the objectives set out in Article 1, in accordance with the procedures laid down in its Statute. The other existing financial instruments which may contribute, each according to the specific provisions governing its operations, to attaining the Objectives referred to in Article 1 include the European Investment Fund and the European Atomic Energy Community (Euratom) (loans, guarantees), hereinafter "the other financial instruments".
