Article 53

The Commission may recommend coordinated plans in accordance with the procedure referred to in Article 62(2). These plans shall be: organised annually in accordance with a programme; and where considered necessary, organised on an ad-hoc basis, in particular with a view to establishing the prevalence of hazards in feed, food or animals.
