Article 59

Regulation (EC) No 882/2004 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 29 April 2004 on official controls performed to ensure the verification of compliance with feed and food law, animal health and animal welfare rules · European Union

The following Article shall be inserted in Directive 2000/29/EC: "Article 27a For the purpose of this Directive and without prejudice of Article 21 thereof, Articles 41 to 46 of Regulation (EC) No .../... of the European Parliament and of the Council of ...on official controls performed to ensure the verification of compliance with feed and food law, animal health and animal welfare rules OJ L (Note to OJ. Insert No and date of present Regulation at publication in OJ)." shall apply, as appropriate.
