The Commission shall be assisted by the Standing Committee on the Food Chain and Animal Health instituted by Article 58 of Regulation (EC) No 178/2002 or, where dealing with matters mainly relating to plant health, by the Standing Committee on plant health set up by Council Decision 76/894/EEC OJ L 340, 9.12.1976, p. 25. .
