Directive 2008/57/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 17 June 2008 on the interoperability of the rail system within the Community (Recast) (Text with EEA relevance) · European Union

The Agency shall draw up a recommendation for a reference document cross-referencing all the national rules applied by the Member States for placing vehicles in service. The national safety authorities shall cooperate with the Agency in this task.
