(8) For reasons of clarity and consistency with other relevant Union legislative acts, certain definitions should be specified, and terminology should be aligned with that used in Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006 and Directive 2008/98/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council Directive 2008/98/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 19 November 2008 on waste and repealing certain Directives (OJ L 312, 22.11.2008, p. 3). .
