REGULATION (EU) 2023/1542 OF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND OF THE COUNCIL of 12 July 2023 concerning batteries and waste batteries, amending Directive 2008/98/EC and Regulation (EU) 2019/1020 and repealing Directive 2006/66/EC (Text with EEA relevance) · European Union

Without prejudice to Directive 2010/75/EU, permitted facilities shall ensure that treatment for waste batteries complies, as a minimum, with Part A of Annex XII to this Regulation and with best available techniques defined in Article 3, point (10), of Directive 2010/75/EU.
