Section 70A

Subject to subsection (2), section 329 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 and section 271 of the Town and Country Planning (Scotland) Act 1997 (which provide for the service of notices and other documents) shall apply to notices and other documents required or authorised to be served or given under this Act. Subsections (2) and (3) of the said section 329 shall not apply to a notice required to be served under paragraph 2 of Schedule 14. Subsection (1)(cc) of the said section 271 shall not apply to a notice required to be served under section 14G. Subsection (2) of the said section 271 shall not apply to a notice required to be served under section 14D(5)(a). This section shall not affect the operation of paragraph 2(4) of Schedule 11 or paragraph 3(4) of Schedule 15.
