Section 49

This Act shall extend to Northern Ireland with the exception of— the provisions of Part 1; any provision amending or repealing an enactment which does not so extend; and any other provision so far as it has effect for the purposes of, or in relation to, a provision falling within paragraph (a) or (b) above. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . An Order in Council under paragraph 1(1)(b) of Schedule 1 to the Northern Ireland Act 1974 (exercise of legislative functions for Northern Ireland) which states that it is made only for purposes corresponding to any of the provisions of this Act mentioned in subsection (1)(a) to (c) above— shall not be subject to paragraph 1(4) and (5) of that Schedule (affirmative resolution procedure and procedure in cases of urgency); but shall be subject to annulment in pursuance of a resolution of either House of Parliament.
