Section 50(2)

The rules of the union may exclude entitlement to vote in the case of all members belonging to one of the following classes, or to a class falling within one of the following— members who are not in employment; members who are in arrears in respect of any subscription or contribution due to the union; members who are apprentices, trainees or students or new members of the union.
