The rules of the union may restrict entitlement to vote to members who fall within— or to members who fall within a class determined by reference to any combination of the factors mentioned in paragraphs (a), (b) and (c). a class determined by reference to a trade or occupation, a class determined by reference to a geographical area, or a class which is by virtue of the rules of the union treated as a separate section within the union, The reference in paragraph (c) to a section of a trade union includes a part of the union which is itself a trade union.
