Schedule 10, paragraph 10(1)

In subsection (1)(a) of section 80 of the 1972 Act (disqualification for persons holding appointments made or confirmed by a local authority or connected authority), after “joint committee” there shall be inserted “ or National Park authority ”; and after subsection (2) of that section there shall be inserted the following subsections— Subsection (2) above shall have effect as if the reference to a joint board included a reference to a National Park authority. For the purposes of this section a local authority shall be treated as represented on a National Park authority if it is entitled to make any appointment of a local authority member of the National Park authority.
