Schedule 22, paragraph 5

In section 7(8) of the Opencast Coal Act 1958 (definitions etc. for the purposes of section 7) in paragraph (i) of the definition of “statutory water undertakers” for the words “National Rivers Authority” there shall be substituted the words “ Environment Agency ”. In section 52(3) of that Act (general application to Scotland) for the words “a river purification authority within the meaning of the Rivers (Prevention of Pollution) (Scotland) Act 1951” there shall be substituted the words “ the Scottish Environment Protection Agency ”.
