Schedule 1, paragraph 37

The Education Reform Act 1988 is amended as follows. In section 174(2), for “Schedule 13 to that Act” substitute “ Chapter I of Part XIV of the Employment Rights Act 1996 ”. In section 203(7), for “section 55 of the Employment Protection (Consolidation) Act 1978” substitute “ Part X of the Employment Rights Act 1996 ”. In section 221(2)(b), for “section 81 of the Employment Protection (Consolidation) Act 1978” substitute “ section 135 of the Employment Rights Act 1996 ”. In section 235— in subsection (1), for “the Employment Protection (Consolidation) Act 1978” substitute “ the Employment Rights Act 1996 ”, and in subsection (2)(f), for “section 81 of the Employment Protection (Consolidation) Act 1978” substitute “ section 139 of the Employment Rights Act 1996 ”.
