In subsection (6) “catering business” means— and in paragraph (a) “alcohol” has the same meaning as in the Licensing Act 2003 . the sale of meals, refreshments or alcohol... for consumption on the premises on which they are sold, or the sale of meals or refreshments prepared to order for immediate consumption off the premises; except that in Scotland “alcohol” has the meaning given in section 2 of the Licensing (Scotland) Act 2005
