Subsections (2) and (3) apply where— an employer gives a worker a document in writing in the form of a contract of employment or other worker’s contract or letter of engagement, the document contains information which, were the document in the form of a statement under section 1, would meet the employer’s obligation under that section in relation to the matters mentioned in that section save for the particulars specified in section 2(4) and, and the document is given not later than the beginning of the employment.
