Section 114(5)

On an application under this section, the Competition Appeal Tribunal may— if it considers it appropriate to do so. quash the penalty; substitute a penalty of a different nature or of such lesser amount or amounts as the Competition Appeal Tribunal considers appropriate; or in a case falling within subsection (1)(c), substitute for the date or dates imposed by the appropriate authority an alternative date or dates;
