Section 146(1)

In Part 1 of this Act (environmental governance)— the following provisions extend to England and Wales— Chapter 1 (improving the natural environment), except for sections 17 to 20; section 28 (monitoring and reporting on environmental improvement plans and targets); sections 17 to 19 (policy statement on environmental principles) extend to England and Wales and Scotland; the remaining provisions extend to England and Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.
