Section 7(2)

Where this subsection applies, the domestic enactment specified under subsection (1)(a)— must, so far as possible, be read and given effect in a way which is compatible with the provision of assimilated direct legislation specified under subsection (1)(b), and is subject to that provision of assimilated direct legislation so far as it is incompatible with it.
