Schedule 28, paragraph 5

In Part 9 of EA 2002 (information), in section 243E (directions by the Secretary of State relating to overseas disclosures) (inserted by section 326(2)), after subsection (2) insert— The Secretary of State may not make a direction under this section in relation to a disclosure permitted under section 243A or 243B that relates to assistance provided by a relevant regulator to an overseas regulator by virtue of Chapter 2 of Part 5 of the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024.
