Schedule 30, Part 1, paragraph 23

Paragraph 15 (paragraphs 13 and 14: supplementary) is amended as follows. In sub-paragraph (2D), in the words before paragraph (a)— after “shall apply,” insert “as they had effect immediately before the relevant date and”; for “apply”, in the second place it occurs, substitute “applied immediately before that date”. In sub-paragraph (2G)— after “shall apply” insert “, as it had effect immediately before the relevant date,”; for “applies” substitute “applied immediately before that date”. In sub-paragraph (2H)— for “have”, in the first place it occurs, substitute “, immediately before the relevant date, had”; at the end insert “as those provisions had effect immediately before that date”. After sub-paragraph (4) insert— In this paragraph “the relevant date” means the date on which section 143 of the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024 came into force.
