Section 24

Before imposing a conduct requirement on a designated undertaking, the CMA must— carry out a public consultation on the conduct requirement which it proposes to impose, and bring the public consultation to the attention of such persons as it considers appropriate. For the purposes of the consultation, the CMA must publish— the conduct requirement which the CMA proposes to impose, or a description of that requirement, and a statement of the permitted type of requirement to which the CMA considers the proposed conduct requirement belongs. Consultation under subsection (1) may be carried out at the same time as consultation under section 13 (consultation on proposed decision. Before revoking a conduct requirement, the CMA must— carry out a public consultation on the proposed revocation, and bring the public consultation to the attention of such persons as it considers appropriate.
