Section 60D

The prohibitions in regulation 46A (technical assistance relating to aircraft and ships) are not contravened by the provision of any technical assistance where a failure to provide that assistance would endanger— the lives of persons on board— an aircraft, or a ship; the safety of— an aircraft in flight, or a ship at sea. In this regulation, the following terms have the same meaning as they have in regulation 46A— “aircraft”; “ship”; “technical assistance”.
