Section 60D(1)

The prohibitions in regulation 46A (technical assistance relating to aircraft and ships) are not contravened by the provision of any technical assistance where a failure to provide that assistance would endanger— the lives of persons on board— an aircraft, or a ship; the safety of— an aircraft in flight, or a ship at sea.
