Section 81

The Payment Systems Regulator may by notice in writing require a person to provide information or documents— which the Payment Systems Regulator thinks will help the Treasury in determining whether to make a designation order, or which the Payment Systems Regulator otherwise requires in connection with its functions under this Part. In particular, a notice under subsection (1) may require a participant in a regulated payment system to notify the Payment Systems Regulator if events of a specified kind occur. A notice under subsection (1) may require information or documents to be provided— in a specified form or manner; at a specified time; in respect of a specified period.
